Help Us Grow

Since we are still a young site just starting out, we would of course appreciate any help we can get with getting the word out about SwapAddict. If you like our site and would like to see us grow, there are several things you can do to help us out.

1. Tell your friends about us -- with more users it will be easier to find items you're interested in.
2. Aside from the regular membership we have implemented a "Swap Ambassador" account flag that will only be available to early adopters. The Swap Ambassador account flag will be awarded to all the early users that actively help spread the word about SwapAddict and help us build the site up into something great. This can be done by helping new users in the forums, being an active swapper early on or by offering any other kind of help you can think of. Ambassadors will be given various advantages over regular users and we will be keeping a running watch on users deserving of this status. You are also welcome to drop us a line and let us know if you think you deserve to be a Swap Ambassador and we simply haven't noticed it yet.
3. Add as many items as you can to your Offered and Wanted lists. The more items that are available on the site, the more users will want to come have a look, thus increasing the potential amount of users to swap with. It will also help to offer items in as many different categories as possible.
4. Help suggest new categories and sub-categories that you think the site is missing. We plan to expand the number of categories as the number of users grows so that we won't have too many or too few, but we need your help to let us know what's missing. Keep in mind that new categories should ideally be something that many users will find a use for.
